What's the fastest bone stock 5 speed times in the 1/4? Been busting off pretty good times recently with my 275k lb7. 13.3s and 13.2s at over 100mph. Trans will limp very easily at lower rpms so I have adjusted the tcm for shift points and ecm for defuel and trying to get away from torque, ect as we all know that's what will kill an stock allison. Anyways took the old ranch truck to the track friday night and busted off a [email protected] with a 1.87 60' (front Is leveled) truck weighs 7200lbs also. So im wondering who else out there has made there 5 speeds live through abuse. I'll post up a pic of the truck and time slip.

Ttt I know there was a guy who trapped 105 in his stock 5 speed awhile back IIRC. Who else has gone fast on the stocker

In two weeks im headed to the track again to see if I can get a 12.99 on the stock 5 speed. Im still curious if anyone's been in the 12s on a factory 5 speed?

In 2011 the best I ran with a 2002 RCLB was 13.26@ 100 mph with a 1.87 sixty foot at 6600#. The truck had a completly stock transmission and engine with 190000 miles. My cousin still has the truck and I think it has around 240k on it now with the same stock transmission

I managed a 13.2 out of my LLY on the stock 5 spd. Most times it was 13.3 - .13.5. Best mph was 108. Only weight reduction was backseat and spare tire removed. I could never get a decent 60 out of it..... 20's and mud tires were probably to blame:D

Awesome guys. Maybe this weekend I'll take my lb7 back to the trans and see if I can bust into the 12s. It's heavy though lol I may there N02 on it if I can't get there on fuel. 278k cp3 pump is getting a tad weak also but I still have plenty of fuel to clean up with spray :D

It's really depressing seeing threads about a 7200# bone stock lly running the quarter quicker then my modified 6800# lbz with built trans lol.

Good luck on the 12.99!

That LBZ should be well into the 12's with the right set up.

You know, the stock motor in my LLY never did run worth a shit compared to others, yours may have my LLY syndrome or just needs some tuning work.

My LMM will walk every other LBZ/LMM/LML I've went against as far as stock air and fuel.
