Good buddy of mine ran this weekend in his 4 door, long bed, 8300lb dually cummins and clicked off a 10.55@130. truck sits on 6 Toyo proxies. We are at 4300' and it was 99* with an 8000' DA. Has an Industrial Injection built motor, compounds and fuel system with his own Randy's transmission built 48re.

This thing is insane!

So i assume you can still run the track there in SLC, i was told it is shutting down? I will be moving back to SLC in the next 6-8 months and hoped i would be able to go there

I believe RMR has 3 years left on its lease or land agreement after this season....whatever you want to call it. Miller Motorsports park is supposed to shut down here soon but there are plenty of buyers inline to pick it up from what I have been told...I doubt we will lose our 1/4 mile track anytime soon.

Ol' Tim Jackson had his GMC dually into the mid-10s IIRC.

Regardless, it's down right impressive seeing a full-weight dually move out like that!!

Edit: well, looking back at the "fastest" list that Ken keeps, I guess I'm remembering Tim Jackson's time wrong with his dually. Perhaps it was mid-11s? I just remember it was stupid fast for a dually. :D

Currently the fastest Dually is 10.3 iirc :) regardless Randy's truck is an absolute beast, he daily drives it, tows his camper and boat, etc.

I went with Merchant when he was taking the truck to Tim after it's "first" build. That truck was scary to ride in, it was that freaking quick.
I cant imagine the thrill of driving a dually into the 10s.

IIRC it was around 11.2 on big heavy wheels
