Update on this.
I put my new filters on, primed it, and have been running it off and on in a bucket for two days.

I can’t comment on how much is flows but it’s a solid stream out of the line into the bucket.

ill put a gauge on it and do that.

I do know that if I plug it the return starts having flow

You can rig up a tee with a gauge and a ball valve to check pressure and time it filling a gallon jug to approximate flow rate at pressure. Don't close the valve too much, just enough to bring the pressure up to 8-10 psi.
