So I bought a used FASS 150 awhile back that had a new motor installed but it never came with any instructions and what I found on the FASS site was of no help.
Trying to figure out first off where the fitting, spring and check ball goes as per the attached pic.
Also I have all the ports figured except the ones that have the H stamped beside them. So help identifying what those are for would also be handy. uploadfromtaptalk1409069631591.jpguploadfromtaptalk1409069640463.jpguploadfromtaptalk1409069646281.jpg

The ball, spring, and fitting should go in the return port.

Kind of figured that. I assume this is what sets your pressure.

So another question where do guys mount it so the filters are higher than the frame rail?

Pics would be handy.

Did some digging and found an old manual online. I guess the bracket mounts to the front spring hanger p/s. Getting ready to drill holes.

Well got it mounted. Need some fittings to finish it off.
Dropped my tank to pull the old fuel line off as I syphoned it out 2 years ago - or so I thought. Found it was still half full so that was a pia. Also found out my Kennedy pump was nfg when I tried to pump the rest of the fuel out. 6 years old and it was on two trucks. Not sure when it crapped it's pants but it's in the garbage now.

Installed a mudflap to protect the pump and filters.
Also finished the return plumbing. I already had a T in the vent line for my slip tank so swapped it out for a X and ended up with no hose off the return which was nice.
Forgot to tie in my webasto fuel supply though so need to get some more 1/8" plastic fuel line and install a T at the inlet side of the pump for it to draw from.
Other than that it's done.
I used a Fleetguard HF6601 10 micron secondary and an FF1001 10 micron primary for filters. I will also have a 2 micron CAT 1R0750 near the engine before the CP3 plus an FF1001 off the slip tank so no shortage of fuel filtering!!uploadfromtaptalk1409202516965.jpguploadfromtaptalk1409202522410.jpguploadfromtaptalk1409202527744.jpg
