It's been a long time since I read all that stuff on lly issues... But I do remember the radiators being replaced, don't know with what. Go to the diesel place and look it up. Thats where I read all of that

so how big is a LBZ radiator? i have done an engine conversion so have no idea, but would be nice to know surface area to compare.

also my fan wont engage unless engine speed drops to idle. is that how it should be working? or engage at any rpm?

It should engage at all rpm's. The first time I hit 4000+ rpm gradebraking with the fan full on, I was looking for the 747 falling out of the sky.
