in Hawaii the only thing they worry about is tinted windows, no on ever checks if anything is working or if the parts are there or not, to be honest I dont think most of these inspection guys know what there looking 4 in the first place

Interesting observation on my '08 LMM

Since almost day one, I have been running a 4" turbo back with a stealth II. I have run all the Stealth tunes, including their relatively new 135 HP tune, and ALL their tunes smoke like hell.

When Quad came out with the 135 tune, they also included a stock No DPF tune, which I am assuming means they just killed all the regen functions and CEL parameters, but left all other operational parameters untouched. A couple of days ago, I ran that stock no DPF tune for the first time. I am AMAZED that no matter how hard I accelerate or lug the engine, the stock tune does not smoke at all.

I was kind of surprised at how clean it runs, but I suspect it might be OK if sniffed...

Its definitely low-profile

Here in North Carolina the people in charge all own car dealerships and so they keep making the emmisions/safety tests harder to get around and more stingent. People get tired of fixing stuff on their car every year to pass so they go out and buy a new(er) car from said dealerships.
