Faded side molding

I've got a 2007 classic White LBZ and the side molding has all faded and turned pink. It got so ugly that I removed it. Anyone else had this problem?

I've never seen the white molding turn pink, Ken. I have seen it turn "yellow". Did you keep a wax or, better yet on white, a sealer on it?

Ive seen more than a few white Chevys like that. IMO, nothing you can do about it due to the materials the molding is made of. Body shop can order new and change it out if its important to you.

Could see if there is a close color match for vinyl wrap depending on paint condition

I just took them off. I think it looks better without them anyway.

Ya all the molding sucks on this generation. My GMC is starting to bubble bad.

Good decision. My truck looks much cleaner without them.
