Factory fog light wiring harness

My truck does not have fog lights, but has the fog light switch and the dash indicator comes on with the switch. There are no wires hanging down by the bumper so I have no idea where to connect my lights to. Where should I look for a connection to this circuit?

I haven't drove my truck in awhile, but are you sure it's not the cargo switch?

That is possible, where is the factory fog light switch? I'm thinking of the button to the right of the headlight switch.

Yeah it looks like the high beam symbol, but its facing more downward? That's the cargo light... I thought it was a fog light button for 5 years, till I got a stack. Driving at night it pressed it and the stack reflected in the mirror lmao

The fog lights don't have an indicator on the dash. Just a little light right next to the button

I have them wired to the high beams now. I add my own switch when I get a chance. I'm going to look for a bright led replacement bulb for my cargo light so it is actually useful.

good luck on a bright cargo light. 2 recons and neither is good for a cargo light. The brake lights are a different story.

Thought about doing under rail lighting for the bed, but hardly need lights in the bed of the truck.
