Sorry guy been stalking awhile haven't joined. So I did today and ill upload an avatar and pics soon.

Picked up a new too me but fairly well used LLY. Still trying to piece together what was done to it.

What I know:
EFI Live with DSP5 switch (no clue what tunes are) it will be seeing the duramax tuner soon to get it retuned.
AFE Intake
5" Straight Exhaust
6" Lift
37" Tires (modded fenders to fit)
Steel driveshaft
Has a banks 6 gun (not hooked up thankfully) sitting in it.

Issues so far
Headlights distorted - replaced with projection
Grill painted black - Replaced
CV boots ripped - Have Two new axles that are going in tonight
God Awful brake rattle - Have new hardware that will go in tonight
Surging issue around 1400 rpms - I assume im looking at an FPR soon
Vibration around 50mph - I think I have narrowed this down to an unbalanced rear driveshaft (tires are getting balanced tonight)

So far I have done oil, Fuel filter, Tranny fluid, Transfer case service, rear diff service, replaced headlights and grill and drove

Thanks for all of the knowledge (that I stole) and look forward to learning more!

Welcome! pics of current CV angles please. adding new axles may not stop you from tearing those if the angles are severe.

Did you end up finding the vibration cause?
So i balanced the tires, had the transfer case, and transmission flushed and the vibration was gone. However its starting to come back again...i think its a tire balance problem again.... one tire was pretty far off last time.

10-4, Yeah thats not bad at all. did you keep the old axles? if they didnt run completely dry, you can buy a boot kit and fix them up. they are stronger than the replacment stuff out there, plus the boots dont last as long on the aftermarket stuff. even the replacement boots dont last as long as stock.
