The nozzles will be matched to each other, as for your injector bodys, who knows.... biggest mistake most guys make IMO is putting new (bigger nozzles) on old worn out/bad injectors, if an body is pissing fuel back the return or is low on delivery in the first place, bigger nozzles just make problems .

I would say both. Low mileage but shitty fuel could cause excessive wear indicated by poor balance rates. Normal wear but high mileage could be a problem waiting to happen sooner than later indicated by the same.

My 60 over nozzles were done by Jim at extrude hone. They are on my factory injector bodies. Truck runs great.

Mine are there right now going to 45's. I'm hoping for the same results. Reminds me I should call and see if they are done or not.........

3 of my 8 have under 50k but the other 5 have 180 on them. If the rates were good when the truck broke couldn't I get them honed and monitor the balance rates? When the time comes that a balance rate starts to go couldn't I just replace the body?

Kind of a mickey mouse way to do it IMO but it would work.
Myself, I would find a set of good used or remans and send those out to get done. Then you have a set with all the same amount of mileage and wear.

Jim always treats me great.
I have a tip though.
Be sure and clean the nozzles up.
Get the carbon off and use a can of brake clean and watch spray pattern.
A clogged hole will stay small as others grow.

The man can only do his best with what you give him.

I have sent new nozzles up and that is the best way to go imho.
If its in the budget.

Looking to get my 80,000 mile injectors brought out to 60 overs. Anybody have an idea of what Extrude would charge me for that? If not I'll just give them a call tomorrow.

I believe my 45's were $380.
I think on average it's about 15-20% less than the size you want and then add a zero on the end.

Does he have a website anymore, or do you just have to call the number I saw posted in the thread? Had a few sets done years ago and had great luck!
