Is there anywhere that sells a bolt kit to suit the duramax like all external bolts ? Currently building the eninge and want to use all new bolts on it. I seen socal with there builds use all new bolts so ther must be somewhere to buy a kit or something.

SoCal, if I had to guess, has a list of all the bolt PNs and purchases them from GM or another vendor. You can buy all the fasteners from the dealer (oem).

That said, ever think of just buying an ultrasonic cleaner and cleaning your bolts?

You could always get tumbler and try maybe ceramic or graded stone media to clean them, then switch to walnut shells and a little polish to clean them up.

You could also try dipping them in rust release, I never used the stuff but my boss restored an old jeepster and he used it for some really bad parts and said it worked good. Could maybe try the rust release and an ultrasonic together.

Lincolndieselspecialties.com carries most of all the bolts you need on their website at a pretty decent price.

Do not use a wire wheel on them. Looks good for a bit but actually will rust quicker. Unless you can coat them with some type of clear.
