... As you can tell by my posts I have been having truck issues. I got the truck going and a guy put on a new injector for me, but it still has a fuel problem. First, it has a brand new fuel filter, MAF was just cleaned, air filter was cleaned. The truck smokes like a freight train. At 1/3 throttle it will just puff black smoke. It still doesn't start properly and idles really rough. What is the problem? They guy that replaced my injector said the injectors are in spec(I trust him). So obviously there is a fuel problem--but where? It also has an upraded #7 injector harness. Thanks in advance.

lack of boost shouldn't cause a hard start and idle miss condition. You still have an injector issue somewhere. I assume rail pressure is fine at all times???
Oops, didn't catch the hard start issue.
Sorry about that. Definately do some logging if you have the software. Try looking at fuel pressure valve current, rail pressure and balance rates.

Update, I've put it in the stock tune, I've tried an LBZ MAF, I've taken the air filter out and driven it; Still smokes like a pig
