Need some help here! I have a stock 09 duramax that I keep getting a check engine light that comes on and then message comes up that engine power is reduced. Will not let me go over like 30 mph for a little while then will work normal. The MAF sensor has been replaced. The Chevy dealership has no clue. Thanks!

MAF sensor was reading slightly higher normal. They checked the intake system for leaks. Nothing there. Checked EGR valve for stoicking, nothing there. Checked and tightened clamps and lines.......and still the message is popping two-three times a day.

I've been down that road. Didn't want to condemn an aftermarket filter but I could swap out an aftermarket with an AC Delco and actually see idle MAF readings change. Sucks GM made the sensors so sensitive, or so close to the filter assembly.

Hello guys I am new here but also having the same problem. I was pulling code p0101 (maf) for some time now I kept clearing it. I finally changed out my k&n filter and code still came up so I also replaced the maf sensor, code went away and had not came back but truck it still stuck in engine power reduced mode. I can not figure it out. I was wondering if by any chance when I had my battery disconnected for a while and my computer reset could it have lost the program for the dpf delete. I do not have a programer I bought the truck with dpf deleted and 5" exhaust, I was told the computer had an economy tune just to clear the dpf delete. Is it possible that the computer lost the tune and that's the reason the truck is stuck in engine power reduced mode?

Thanks in advance for everyone's help
