Brought my 04 lb7 to a reputable shop around me to have all 8 injectors done. Ended up paying $4300 to have them all replaced and they also replaced the thermostats while they had the housing cover off. Next day driving to work the truck started overheating I shut it down once it hit 248. I brought the truck to them with injector issues and now I got it back with cooling issues. I am extremely aggravated right now especially since the shop is not open on weekends. I might just replace the thermostats myself maybe the ones they put in are not opening?

Excess pressure in the cooling system?

Take the thermostats out for now and see if it gets better.

They didn't run it long enough to get warm and fill coolant system full

Add more dexcool, open bleed port on thermostat housing to let air out. Drive for 15 to 20 minutes up to temperature, then top up reservoir tank.
