What is the go to engine oil. 2015, 150k, 6.6 lmm I believe, Stock but Kennedy tuned, twin fuel pump, air box.

I like Schaffer’s. Not available in the boonies. Will t6 15w40 hurt a 2015, 2500 6.6 towing 13,000lb fifth wheel camper.

your going to get answers all over on this one.
Oil is what I recommend, at the end of the day, I have never heard of a Duramax that blew up since someone put the wrong brand 15w40 or 5w40 in it. It comes down to how you use your vehicle. You can put the best or worse oil, change it every 3-5 thousand miles in DD application and be fine. If it's a truck thats beat hard, towing or runs hot, then synthetic on normal change rotation.

Thanks man. Just making sure that the synthetic is not missing/adding an agent or additive that the blend has for the longevity of the motor.

The most important thing is to service it regularly and keep it full. Anything beyond that should include testing oil samples and keeping tabs on additive package content and TBN.
