By all means don't make the individuals take responsibility for being stupid, put it on the rest of society. Shitty decisions are usually do to shitty upbringing, the freedom restrictions need to start at who can reproduce, we have enough f^ucking mouth breathers in this country already.

There is nothing you can breathe, eat, or drink that won't give you cancer and kill you. When it's your time, it's your time.

This is my outlook on life as a whole. Just live. When your time is up on this earth you're done. Im sliding through the pearly gates beat to shit and all worn out, not barely used.

Guys this will never happen. Too many democrats on government assistance use a prepaid (EBT) debit card to buy energy drinks and Doritos.:roflmao:

Word around the watering hole here is that there are a lot of cases of energy drinks (in excess of one per day) being linked to brain damage for the military. A lot of our docs are telling us not to drink them when we can avoid it. Apparently they made the connection while studying TBI patients.
Personal opinion, it's just like anything else. If you do it to the point of excess, it's going to hurt you sooner or later. Smoking a pack a day, drinking alcohol like a fish drinks water, staying awake for days at a time, and poor diet are obviously not good for you, but for some people, popping caffeine pills like tic tacs is the only way to function safely in an environment that truly requires your full attention at all times. Deciding to ban something because people choose to use it in an unsafe manner is simply ridiculous. The same applies to firearms, tobacco, alcohol, diesel trucks or whatever. Make your own choices, act like an adult and be accountable for your own actions.

5 peope died since 2009 from energy drink, big f'n deal. 27+ people have died this Flu season here in Indiana alone. Ban the damn flu! If people are stupid and overdose on Monster, so be it! You can't fix stupid no matter how many times you try.

I think we non government people should form a coalition and investigate and go into the homes of these idiots in power and tell them what we don't like about their lifestile and ban the products we feel they should not indulge in. Wonder how that would go over.:roflmao:

I have to agree that energy drinks are terrible. They contain known carcinogens and cause a huge increase in blood pressure which America doesn't need at all. To put it.in perspective, if you drank a monster or red bull, your blood pressure and heart rate will be high enough to inhibit you from taking a physical agility test (PAT) for fire, police, or military. I see it all the time at testing sites. The only hard part for me to wrap my head around is why energy drinks would be outlawed while cigarettes stay legal. Tobacco is the number one cause of consumer related death and disease, not red bull. That alone is a big red flag that an energy drink ban is a steaming pile.

That's completely ****ing retarded. Why does it not surprise me that Obamaland would be the first one to try it?

You could say the same thing for beer, McDonald's, sex, diesel trucks or anything else that we enjoy. The point is that this is supposed to be a free country. If I want to kill myself on Monster, who cares? I'm not hurting anyone else. Just like seat belt laws and helmet laws.

:Ditto: I don't need somebody telling me what I should or shouldn't eat or drink. I happen to like the Lo Carb Monsters and if it kills me, I guess my 15 year old son will inherit my truck.
