Can anyone give me some pointers on what you have done with exhaust upgrades/tuners in areas like mine ( Washington State) and still be legal at the emissions testing station? I am not wanting to drop a few grand on performance parts just to be S.O.L. I have an 08 LMM CC/SB LTZ Z71.Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have an 05, but what they have done with me, is put a sniffer in the tail pipe and have me whack the throttle several times. They told me that with programmers, they usually don't pass, but I leave mine in and turn it down to the econo tune. They also plug in to the diagnostic and check for emission codes. No visual inspections. I'm also located in Clark County.
