Elite Ford blows up!!!

None of Elites trucks ran very good IMO. Not sure why everyone takes their Furd to them I saw a turbo wheel come out the stack so I'm guesing the turbo went even if N20 was the cause of it.

I thought it was kinda a poor turnout for the event when compared to past years. I've only been one year before but I thought it's be packed and it wasn't. I never saw any well known D-Max's there. The TS truck and the Scheid truck {I think} had more potential for sure.

I knew a few guys that were supposed to make it but hit problems right before so they had to cancel , one guys was half way there and had to turn around because his new setup was having issue's . I wanted to go myself but the truck was under the knife . I hope to make it next year !

Quad racing was ok, there was one 2 stroke Banshee that ran a 7.2 in the 1/8th.

I just talked to one of Tadd's buddys and he was telling me it's a 10sec truck. 18's are sure a long way from 10's but I guess it was running real bad all day from what I seen.

I agree. The semi truck racing slows the entire process down. The 4wd and diesel class each took up four lanes. It was a very large turn out for sure.

I was there for the first time and in the morning it was packed wall to wall. Because there were so many people signed up for racing, it took forever to get them through. I was #444 (maroon CCSB) and there were more behind me so easily 500+ people just to drag.

The Semi's and quads were a waste IMO.

I was running slower than normal by 0.4 sec but very consistent. When I looked at my logs, I noticed that my boost was 7 psi lower than normal. Right now I'm trying to figure out where the leak is.

I did get to check out and race the Hazmax truck. Clint was a really nice guy and showed me a lot of what he did including his EFILive setup. He dialed a 11.6 and I dialed a 13.2 (since I was running 13.3 in the previous passes). Unfortunately while trying to get another good light, I red lighted...Bummer because I ran another 13.3.

The 9 sec Dodge was the fastest I've ever seen in person. I saw him run a 9.96 when the DA was 9600 ft. That's screamin...

It would be nice if there were just diesels there instead of any and all trucks. There were jeeps, rockcrawlers, el camino's, mini trucks... Since it was my first time there, I didn't expect that and because of so many trucks (not just diesels) it took forever to get any runs. I got three runs in 9 hours.

Maybe I phrazed things wrong. There weren't the spectators I expected to see. There were more racers that before for sure,just not many really fast

Did you guys watch the sled pull? Elite's big red tuna boat twisted off, then that 95 ps had some kind of meltdown right after him. lol fords getting towed all over the place.:rofl:

No,I was sledpulling in Nebraska on Sat. Otherwise I would have been out there pulling. Jeff Brody with the red Scheid truck wanted me down there for the work stock class but l wanted to pull with my buddys at home that day. Just as well cause I need to make a few adjustments to my pull truck so I can have a better chance at winning .

Freaking fords are always getting towed :spit:. I was suprized to hear that Dan from Midwest Trans took 4th with his 06 6.0 with the big stacks. He was telling me a while back it really ran but I thought "whatever it's a Ford" Lol!
