You'd need the electric transfer case, encoder motor, the correct wiring harness, the dash switch, a 4x4 control module, and I think that's all.

My only reason is cause the manual won't disenguage if your on the throttle. Like for instance, goin down the drag strip. Does the electronic one? Or is it the same way as the manual

I think he means after he passes the 1/4 line.

As soon as I hit the 1/4 line I lift off the throttle and pop it in 2wd before I hit the curve at the end for the comeback lane. Never had a problem and I have wayyy over 500 passes like that.

I said "for instance" and my trucks gotta be completely stopped for some reason so I was gonna get a new one anyway and I like the push button deal a whole lot more anyway so I was curious what it would take to do it that's all. Kinda like how fords disengage after I think 15 mph. I like that idea. Going from 4wd to 2wd won't tear stuff up like the opposite way would. That's why I'm asking. Not tryin to sound stupid

Hows the tread depth on your tires? Both t-cases will shift in and out of 4x4 at most speeds, unless there is a severe bind. Switching styles of tcase will not change that.

IIRC, the Tcases wouldn't shift out of 4wd under load. You had to be off the throttle for them to shift. Thats how my 263 works.
