Lb7 electrical
I have a Q for you all ehh if you don't mind helping me please.
Well I have this weird electrical gremlin and once in awhile when I use my signals/highbeam switch/ or wipers. All on same signal switch. My engine just up and quits or will studder. It happens a lot at night when I'm using my highbeams repeatedly. Then what else happens is when I wash my truck as soon as I hit the rear end it kills my speakers on my stereo. Then once in drive for a while it will come back on when I hit my highbeam switch like flash my lights. I have HID lights by beamers. But even during the day when my lights are off and I signal or use wipers it dies. And a lot of times if I use either one and it studders but doesn't die I know if I touch the switch again anytime soon it WILL die. I cleaned all my grounds I could find and did ohm tests for ground issues all over my truck and I'm so confused and would hate to pay for the third time a lot of $$$ to a mechanic just to tell me he did this and that and it seems fine. I changed my alt. and ran jump wires everywhere. I spent days In my garage trying to figure this out to no avail. I know ground issues cause weird problems and the dealer tested my instrument cluster and said its fine. Also new problem is my fuel gauge reads half when it's full and flips to empty lots causing my info centre to read low fuel . Dealer says sending unit. No codes.plus I pulled out my edge thinking it may cause this as I have read. Not too sure what else to do. Thank you for your time and Please help solve mystery gremlin I would be forever great full sorry bout the long read.

Please all who have knowledge of wiring of my truck or wiring diagrams pertaining to my signal/high/low beam cruise control switch and grounds on my truck. And also I heard batteries that are getting old may cause weird issues with truck. My altinator is a 130 amp that I just put in. I tested them and they seem okay. Any ways thank you again everyone for your input.

I bet if you take out HID's it will go away!!! I'm not guaranteeing it but had this issue on my wife's tahoe, took out HID's problem free!! It's worth a try!

You should lift the fuse box and check the wires under for mice-- or shorted wires. Also Have you tried a new ignition switch-??

TX of course
You might be having a grounding issue but I doubt grounding your hids will fix it. Need to just check all the existing grounds for issues.
