Okay so I've been wanting to run electric fans for awhile. My stock fan is hitting my fan shroud when I get on it, I'm gonna get merchant motor mounts. But I was wondering what are some good flowing fans? I live in Texas so gets pretty warm.

Taurus fans would be the highest flowing and cheapest option that I am aware of. They work amazingly well on my truck. So well in fact that they bring ect down from 215+ degrees after a run to about 175 in 5 minutes or less, depending on ambient temp.
What temperatures do you see in your area? I still daily drive the truck and see 90 degre wether here. You have a link to the fans?
It's not the cheapest way of doing it, but I've always been very happy with my flex-a-lite setup. We installed them on my buddy's LMM as well and they work great.
I'll be in Granbury the 25th if you want to take a look at mine. I live in San Antonio and I've never had a issue at all. Granted, I wouldn't have E-fans if I towed heavy. They only come on with the AC or sitting 20+ mins without moving in 85+ heat. Excuse the shitty looking controller, I've been intending on making my own, I just haven't found the time.

That seems like the best option to me. Do they bolt in like they're factory installed?
I have tested a lot of fans over the last 20 years building AC condensers for ambient temps up to 120f and lately have been testing a lot of different types for rear and front mount radiators.
The best one I could recommend is the SPAL 16" HO fans as they are designed to pull through thicker cores and Have long life motors in them but they can draw up to 35A so need to be wired up pretty well

Not quite. The duramax rad is taller, so the fans dont cover the entire radiator. The denali fans mount to the upper core support on the suv's so you gotta rig that up somehow. Ours work great on our puller, but we also have not had warm weather yet. I would think they dont pull as much air as the stock clutch fan. We wired our up at full amperage too, so if you daily drive your rig, you would need some sorta control for variable speeds.

I only have to use them when it is 80+ degrees ambient. Cooler than that and my truck runs too cold normally. She's a cold-hearted b*tch! I find them on car-part.com. Ebay is usually a rip-off. I had a friend that bent up a piece of 18g SS for my top bracket and I used a few strips of aluminum flat stock across the bottom to space them properly. I found out the hard way how to clearance them away from the radiator!
I use a Dakota Digital two fan/two speed controller that taps into the existing ECT signal wire. Both fans are on 50A relays.
