Well he we are again,
Brand new engine, 30 over injectors, stage 1 garrett, stock intake,....second set of tunes from duramaxtuner and still only seein 16 lbs boost and super high egts...checked all intake and intercooler piping...TIGHT. Which parameters from the CTS scanner cld help decide if the VGT is functioning properly? Or is this a comm error from the ecm and programming... TIA!!

Check obvious first, make sure the intake and intercooler pipes are free from obstructions. Easy to misplace a rag or two. Check maf for damage and that its hooked up. Are the turbo vane controls properly hooked up?

Does DT know you have an aftermarket turbo? May ask him what to log with EFI and get it to him. Might have the vanes open too much or you might have a busted intercooler.

Harbin thanks for the reply...y pipe o rings are gutted man. Just found it tonight...welded y pipe and such is on the way. Yeye!
