I have a BD exhaust on the drivers side, so that was the easiest to install the probe, since it already has the setup for the egt probe. Others have tapped the passenger side exhaust. If you check the DIY section you should see a few examples. If not you can check out bankspower.com and search on installing the 6 gun with speedloader. There is a download which also shows location and instructions on how to complete this task

I have the BD and an EGT probe that came with my original Banks setup.

For the Banks, I drilled and tapped the passenger side while in place...no welding....I did make a magnet out of steel wire and was amazed at how much stuff came out even with grease on both the bit and tap. I have also read where guys do the drilling and tapping with the motor running. The passenger side is easier to work on by far. :thumb: Banks has instructions on their site for correct location, I had to modify the heat shield slightly.

FWIW, the passenger side is about 150-200 deg hotter than the driver side....not sure why, but may be that the passenger side is closer to the middle of the manifold. The boss on the BD manifold pulled my second probe closer to the side of the flow path (I believe).
