The way I understand it...you have a non-egr motor to go in your egr-equipped truck.

Yes, the egr function can be turned off. My non-egr equipped LB7 o.s. has the egr parameters in the stock tune...they just don't work.

dave, you can swap the pass. side up-pipes and intake from the other motor and completely remove the egr without swapping motors. and then re-program the ecm with efi live to get rid of the egr codes.

You should be good, the y bridge ends at the same place where the cooler tube connects. Exhaust will line up too, I think the downpipes off the turbos are different though?

I thought it was just the up-pipe on the pass side? Either way he is all good if not better

I know the up pipe is different for the EGR/Non EGR, but I thought the downpipe was different? I might be wrong though.

You are correct i can see that and the intake is 2 piece also I also see that the wires to the glow plugs are individual on my 04 lb7 and the new lb7 they are tied together with a steel strap? also there is a f=different mount on the pressure gauge i guess i will just swap over everything to have less problems in the end since the motors are out right now but i have to get back in and running by sunday
