Egr delete Lbz too much black smoke!!

First time ever to actually post anything here but have been here many times to read about problems and concerns with parts and sugestions for my truck. I recently put an egr delete kit on my truck and after i installed it i started to realize that it black smoked alot more but its getting to a point that im kinda concerned i did everything right that the instructions said to and everything is tightened up right just concerns me about the amount of black smoke i am getting looking to see if anyone else had this problem and how they fixed it

Make sure your egr up pipe isn't cracked and letting drive pressure escape. Otherwise check for boost leaks. Most delete kits now are more trouble than they're worth, ablocker plate does the same thing, and doesn't have all the delete kit problems.

Did you make sure the intake y-bridge didn't slip apart?

Man we need a lot more info. What kit did you use? Is it smoking more only at WOT? Did you look for boost and exhaust leaks?

Have not gotten it retuned cause i do not have the money currently to get an efi live and i bought the kit from rudys diesel on ebay and i have checked the y bridge and it is fine have not looked at the up pipe cause the downpipe barely touches when turned off cause bracket broke off have not had time to fix it but will definetly check on it tonight

So you pressure tested the intake piping by spraying soapy water on all the connections to make sure there was no leak... Next do the same thing to the exhaust. Don't worry about the broken table on the DP has long as there is no hole in the pipe. The tab isn't really needed. The smoke could just be because you need it tuned.

Worked in it last night turned out the new intercooler pipe i installed had come out if its clamp and the maf sensor was dirty cleaned it fixed the intercooler boot and it runs like a scalded ass and no more low boost codes so im good thank you guys for all your help
