Hey, I'm new and have a few questions about EFILive. I have a cold air intake, 4 inch straight piped and Edge Juice w/ Attitude and wondering what other mods I need and what tunes and how to use them for EFI. Any input helps, thanks.

Yeah shit can that edge and get some Efi live tunes. I see more and more lb7/lly that come in with bad head gaskets and they all have had edge in common.

TX of course
You dont need anymore mods to run EFI Live other then to buy it and get some tunes. More if you want much more power you need a lift pump, but one is a good idea anyways. What engine do you have LBZ? To much more power and you might be looking for a built trans too.

Yea I own an LBZ but honestly don't know how EFILive works at all. Is it just plug and play like my edge?

Not necessarily plug and play. It's a computer based tuning software and has to programmed into your ecm.

Where are you located? It might be best to find someone in your area and have them put efi on for you.

pretty much a plug and play deal, you plug into the OBD2 port to power the tuning box and access the ECM, make a few selections on the box to open a file and then you make a selection to pull the GM tune and load your performance tune...first time takes about 15min, to pull and load, after that, you can just flash over the existing file and it takes about 7-8min. some tuners require you to pull the tune first and email it them first, some don't, nothing about the process is difficult

the only mod I would say you "need" is a lift pump with a dual filter set up
and I personally would get and install a transgo jr shift kit, or see if Mike L sells a variant of such a kit, just to get the shifts to firm up, increase line pressure and "help to" keep your trans functional with the added power.

For most of us, It's kinda like an effort to prolong failure from happening and experience a crisper shift until the trans fails
