Figured this would be the best place to ask.

I've got the trans safe tunes from Rob in heavy tow, light tow, daily driving, and a higher HP tune. I normally always run in the daily tune but I am planning on hauling a Jeep to the sand dunes and will be running my tow tune for this. My question is, should I switch the tune a few days before hand so that the trans can adjust before putting a load behind it, or is this not necessary?

Tranny is stock.

If you run your daily driver tune in normal mode and your tow tune in tow/haul mode, then your trans will be fine. Tow/haul mode has it's own entirely separate set of adaptives in it VS the normal trans mode. I run a good sized tune for my daily driver in normal mode, and a small tune for my tow tune and it always shifts spot on so long as I run my tow tune in tow/haul mode and my daily driver in regular mode.

As everybody is saying you should be perfectly fine. Me how ever I am extremely anal and would do it for peace of mind because I can :happy2:
