efi live v2 replacement

Got the parts in... Anyone need replacement cables?

I enjoy playing with electrical,about as much as i like pancakes for supper

Which cable are you guys referring to? I took my v2, laptop and everything with me on a trip about a month ago. Now that my truck is running and I wanna try and figure out this EFI stuff a lot more I seemed to have lost my cable that goes from the V2 to the usb of my CPU. Is this a special cable also? I still have the serial cable I could plug into my lappy but the USB is so much handier!

The USB cable is a standard type cable like you would get for a USB printer. standard flat USB on one side and the more square connector on the other end.

Cable I was talking about was OBD2 to RJ45, Ive got enough stuff to make 5 of them I think if anyone is interested.....

So, the USB cable with the printer end (USB-B) will work just the same as the telephone-jack looking end does? I see there is 2 different plug holes on the top of the V2, one for the printer type and one for the phone jack type. I just want to make sure I get the right cord.

Just want to bump this up.
I lost my cable that goes from my v2 to my laptop. The one with a usb and a ethernet connection on the other end. Can I use the other port?

Should be able to get ethernet to usb @ any computer store I would think.
I don't think there is anything special about it.
Not sure about switching ports.......
