what license do you have? are you saying you bought an extra vin license to use with someone elses V2? if so no you cant up grade. You have to have a V2 already....

No Jeff (wiklmm) bought EFI and I am using his other licence but he lives 2 hour's away from me and i was just wondering can i buy a v2 so i dont have to keep borrowing his?

No, the license is locked to the V2. You would have to buy the full deal.

You cannot move licenses between FlashScan V2 units. If you were to purchase your own FlashScan, you'd need to relicense your ECM. Effectively this means in future you could tune your truck with either your FlashScan or Jeff's. In addition, NO programming can be done with a Scan only unit, so even if licenses were portable you'd still need to invest in the Tuning tool.

Each FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune comes with 2 available tuning licenses, so you could tune your vehicle without any additional purchase cost.

OT:
Cindy, is Ross getting my emails about EGR in the LMMs? He had me test it in my truck and I responded a few times but noting from him (he may just be busy lol).

Also is it too late to beta the autocal? Looks like I missed it on your site.

Thanks.
Mike.

Mike,

Ross is working on it - he tells me it will be available in the next release....he is pretty busy ATM trying to add a bunch of stuff for the next release and get as much work as possible done before the end of the weekend.

That's not to say that the release will be this weekend - our kids started 2 weeks school holidays for Easter today so working for hours on end without interuption to figure out the complex stuff becomes almost impossible! and then of course there are the public holidays and short working weeks for easter to contend with.

As for AutoCal, have a read on our forum, there is an application form you can submit - Paul is looking after the AutoCal and I know the beta has started but am not sure if Paul is taking on more testers.

Cheers
Cindy
