EFI Live question

I have been lurking here for a while. Great site! I have learned a bunch.

Anyway, I have a 07 LBZ classic. When I bought the truck it was already tuned with EFI live.
The tune on there is supposed to be "Tranny safe". Other than that I do not know what was done.
The truck has way too much power for my daily needs. How do I go about altering the tune more for fuel economy? Do I need to buy the software or can someone in the central Texas area help?

Ideally, I would like both a fuel economy tune and one similar to what I have now. Is this possible?
I have searched some, but clearly do not understand completely how the EFI live works.

I'm off to update signature now....

Thanks in advance.

Most people that do the EFI live tuning also instal a selector knob. It usually has 5 positions but I have seen two position switch. If you have the switch I would try and select between them to see what you have or try to get ahold of the Shop that tuned it to see what tunes were installed.

Search dsp-5 and dsp-2 switches. Then search what and autocal and v2 do, and how they work. That will get you started.

As said I would try and figure out who tuned the truck originally with EFI live and then they can go back in and see exactly what tune or tunes were put in your truck and more then likely for a small fee switch it up to exactly what you are wanting or needing... Worse case if you can't find out and you 100% wanna change your tunes get with a new tuner and new tunes specific to what you want with an autocal and you will be good to go!

Also typically your higher horsepower tunes are the ones that get you the best mpg you just have to be light on the pedal which can be hard :D

Thank you so much gang!
No switch installed. I'll get with previous owner and see who did the tune. I will also read up about the switch.
Once I get educated, I will look up Josh.

Mixed fuel economy with about 60% highway driving is hanging around 19.2MPG. I assume that is ok. Yes, It's hard to keep your foot out of it for sure..

Thanks
