I have two Duramax 4x4 trucks. My 2008 has EFI and my 2007 Classic has an Edge controller. Both have exhaust and air cleaners. My 2007 has 36 inch tires and a six inch lift. It gets 13MPG hwy. I wonder how it compares to everyone elses mileage? I am willing to replace the Edge box and program it if is worth it. The 2008 only gets around 9 but I am always pulling a 50 foot heavy trailer with it it and it also has 22.5 tires on it. Thanks everyone. Robb

First are those numbers hand calculated, and with the correction for the tire size? You Edge can't correct tire size for odometer readings so you would have to go off of a GPS for miles traveled on a full tank then divide by how many gallons it takes to fill it back up. You should be getting better mileage on the 07. The 08 depends on just how heavy that 50 ft trailer is - that may be the best it's gonna do.

f you have efi live, why not tune the other anyway? What do you mean worth it? It comes with 2 licenses, so you might as well build a tune for it and ditch the edge.

I may as well try an EFI tune and see what happens. Can always go back to the Edge if it does better. I did use my GPS to correct the distance traveled.
