does he have an alarm? or anything tied into the elec. ystem or obd port?

Wes' LLY had an alarm and it was taped right into the back of the obd port. wouldnt take a tune, would freeze up until we disconnected that wire.

disable all that and then try a normal flash again. A full flash prolly wont work if you freeze up in the middle of a normal flash...

Like mike said disable it all,Just to be certain. Close the door with windows down Even make sure the head lights wont come on. All these step are just precautionary but i would do them in your situation.
I have full flashed my truck hundereds of time with no issues but every once in a while it happens

your computer is fully charged or plugged in and no other programs running?

Ive seen command starts and do funky things also,Is your cig lighter working?

Have you followed the steps in the instructions to a T?

No alarm on truck. I always shut everything off, cig lighter working gonna go through all fuses tomorrow I guess.

Can someone answer my initial question though, if I full flash and it freezes in the middle then what?? SOL??

I had an 04 do this to me once. Turned out it was an 04 LB7 not an LLY!! I did the PCM read thing neens mentioned and it fixed itself.

Basically you won't be any worse off then you are now the way I see it. Give it a shot.

Yes it is. And yeah I have done three 05's now and they all have kicked me out a couple of times like you said but nothing at all like this one has

you can look at stock tune and see what engine it is. are you sure you got the correct controller selected?

Yeah I am 99% positive. I think Rob would have caught it he made the tune for it.

That's what my earlier post was referring to...Sometimes a Read only will "unfreeze" the ECM...
