Hi,

I have a spare ecm for my lbz that i have a dsp5 program on. It started running bad this morning and I swapped the stock ecm back in and it ran fine. After work i was going to reflash the dsp5 tun file back in and I get the following errors

EFI live detected the ecm may not have valid calibration

flashscan is not able to determine the liscense status of the ecm

then it says the ecm is in an unknown state and disconnects.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Well it seems to have fixed itself. I let it sit for about a half hour and restarted my laptop and it detected the ecm and let me do a full reflash. Don't know what was going on.

We may need to do some work on our error messages at some stage.

Any time a truck physically runs and you get the "may not have a valid calibration" error, the error is tripped by something else; usually a communications error. It's simply not possible (or highly unlikely) that a truck will run with an invalid calibration.

Usual process when you get messages like this and you know your ECM has been fine in the past is to shut down EFILive, disconnect FlashScan and turn your truck off (you may even need to disconnect the batteries) and start over.

Please make sure you softwares are up to date also.

Glad you got it sorted, and sorry I didn't see this earlier.

Cheers
Cindy
