As far as I know, it's possible to do it with any of the handheld programmers. Weather it's "right" or legal is a bit of a grey area if you own the programmer in question.... Now if you where to read them out and sell them, then that's flat out wrong....
I read out the PPE tunes, modified them a little (to correct for my modded LBZ regulator, add rumble idle and turbo brake and disable various DTC's) and ran the modified tunes on my LLY until I sold the programmer and did the LBZ swap. Now that I've done the LBZ swap, I'll be buying a 450-something RWHP (unless he has something bigger
) tune from IdahoRob for it and have no need for any of the "canned" tunes.
