Diamond eye is very quite i sell lots of them and magnaflow does

The quietest will probably be the CORSA, but it is big bucks. The DIAMOND EYE is hard to beat with the quiet tone front pipe. Just helped somebody put one on his LMM, and it is barely any louder with the diamond eye than it was stock with the DPF(no muffler).

The exhaust, tuner, block the EGR, and reroute the PCV are worth while mods.

that right there will get you better mpg than your buddy. running some water/meth to clean the intake track out from all the carbon build up will net you even more MPG as well.

Id talk with Lotsofmiles (james), he tows across country with his truck (dont remember if its a LBZ or LLY) and has a good setup for mpg while towing.

Understanding that I never Mod anything I drive, I just installed the Diablo Predator 120hp tune in the truck. Wow. It rains everyday in RI so I couldnt get into it, but what a difference. The tow tune seems to really help the engine cooling and bottom end power. I hope it helps the mpg but I like so far. Thanks everyone! Exhaust is next...

Besides the EFI, PPE and diablo predator would be one of my choices, I have heard good things about the PPE getting around 2-3 MPG better, one of those tuners paired with and exhaust and intake should do you real good. :D

I would drop it back to the 65HP tuine and leave it if it was mine. Get an exhaust and guages on it to before you get on that 120 tune as it can get it hot with a stock exhaust. And a TRANSGO JR is always a good idea when you tune one.

I would turn down the Predator since you tow. Do the exhaust then block the egr at least. Gauges are really nice cause the 120 tune will run up the egt's fast.

Its back to the tow tune where it will stay till I can back from Cali. The most it will tow on the trip is about 7000-7500 pounds. It was on the 120 tune for about 4 miles, I never jumped on it but could feel the difference. I guess I was lucky it was raining cause that is way to much fun. :woott: It was bought for the MPGs so it may never come back off the tow tune. Thanks again

4 inche exhaust is plenty for just a boxed tuner. The EGR delete isn't neccesary, but your engine WILL thank you for it in milage and keeping the intake clean which will benefit you down the road.

So whos delete kit do I go with? :dr:

You can just do the blocker plate. It is cheap and easy to do. Your truck will probably throw some codes for egr flow but some programmers will block those. Or you can get a Finger stick and wire it into the engine harness and it will fool the computer to think all is well with the egr.

The thing is is to stop the exhaust from getting into your intake as it will clog it up and restrict airflow. If you do the delete look at some of the vendors here and you will find a deal...but I think you will still have to deal with the codes.
