Looking to buy an lmm duramax here in the next month or two.

Come tax season I'm going to buy air intake, a down pipe, 5" exhaust and egr blocker and the edge insight cts 2 for my gauges and control over the codes etc.
My question is I'm assuming the cts will be able to clear the thrown codes from blocked egr and deleted dpf?
Eventually I will get efi live In the coming months. But it would save me a little money if the cts2 could do that.

Why do I keep doing this?

You've got to retune the truck if you delete the egr and especially if you delete the dpf. I do not believe that Edge offers delete tuning.

Do not be impatient. Just leave the truck stock until you can do it all at once.

Moved this into Tuning section as that's what it'll end up being about. :)

Buy efilive first and then get the add ons

You can clear codes but you will still limp

If funds are tight, just skip the intake and CTS2 and do a 4" exhaust and tuning only to start. Just be smart with the tuning and add gauges when funds allow.

But I'll have to get it retuned again when I do the deletes correct?
I'll probably just wait and get the tunes and the deletes all done at once so I don't have to pay twice

I read the stock intake is good to about 500hp? And I'll probably just wait and get it all done at once. Because I want the 5" exhaust w/ downpipe. Then I'll have Danville do the efi live at the same time. Then I can get the insight at a later time.
