Edge CTS touch screen problem

My dad has an old CTS monitor that recently started acting up. When you touch the screen, it doesn't respond how it should. It reacts to touch, but the area it thinks you touched isn't correct. It seems like it needs to be calibrated, but when I called Edge to ask about it, they wanted to sell me a new CTS 2 at a slightly discounted price. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this?

This has been popping up more and more. All edge does is offer 30%off a new cts2. They've washed their hands of the older models. You can try updating the firmware and such but I doubt that will solve it.

I had a CTS2 doing that same thing recently. Screen would register the touch like 1/2" to the right of your finger.

Usually screen needs replaced at that point. Edge charges 100.

Seen this quite a few times. Mostly on all my buddy's old 24V Cummins. Not really a fix for it from what I've found!

I had that issue happen with my cts2 last year. Screen was replaced by edge for 100 dollars.. Now it seems my cts2 doesnt work at all anymore. Its lived a short life of 3 years

Ive had my cts2 for awhile and I havent had an issue. Sucks you guys have had these issues.

Yeah I've had my cts2 for 2 years now I think it is and no issues. I thought they was a good screen.

My CTS is 9 years old and just quit on me today, no touch response from screen, updated with the latest FUSION software and also tried MYSTYLE but to no avail. Ordered new CTS-3 so now I can get on with the job.................. SWH ...

They let me use the CTS2 as a 100. deduction off on the CTS3 when my screen took a crap
