Has anyone successfully split the OBD2 port or added a 2nd port to be able to use a CTS and be able to data log with efilive at the same time?

I have read some other threads about obd2 splitters and adding a 2nd port, but nobody really says if they got it to work correctly.

I bought a splitter when I first started my turbo testing to do that very thing. But unfortunately I couldn't get it to work. When the CTS was in one port and the V2 in the other, as soon as I activated the V2 to data log it took control and the CTS went crazy. Same thing happened when I tried it on the dyno, V2 took control and the dyno when crazy.
I only tried to get it to work for an hour or so but eventually gave up. If theres a way around it I'd like to know.

Im pretty sure Ben had tried it years ago. If anything, he'll be able to tell you if it'll work or not.

I know he has two in his truck but I'm like Tom, I can't recall Ben ever mentioning using both at the same time.

I'd bet anything he can make it work if it doesn't. He's got these electronics whipped. Unbelievable, period; much less for never having formal training on it!

I have not tried it but the CTS is supposed to be able to data log if it has been updated somewhat recently.

The only other option is to have your big tune written on the main tune if on a dsp5 program. Then when you run the truck you can unplug the display and log the run. How many people watch their gauges on a pull? If its in the red it stays in the red! Lol!
