Have you tried an external power source for the camera and leave the box in the truck and start it? Maybe it is in the monitor, not the camera?

Yes I took and ran some wire to my car and I had no interferance at all so I know it is in my truck

I tapped my power and ground into the reverse light itself. No issues with my $13 special.
