I've been running it for a few thousand miles and haven't seen any but idk long term.

I was going to tune mine but maybe I'll just do the dummy solenoid. Trans only has 5k miles no doesn't need a service lol but o well

I've been running a solenoid in my 15.5 for almost 35,000 miles and have had no problems with it. I only had 3,000 miles on the truck when I did it so I reused the trans oil.

I got mine from amazon.

my 15 has 71k on it. I think Russ had it tuned and installed the dummy solenoid right away when new.

no issues that I'm aware of and I've put 11k on it.

Just for everyone's information. I bought the shift solenoid for my truck from a local Allison dealer. It was cheaper than I found it online.

Mind saying what it cost at the dealer? I paid $65 through Amazon.

I paid $50 through the Allison dealer. They quoted me $48.95 on the phone but the receipt says $50.

Cheapest I've seen online was $92 US and upwards of $150.

Anyone want to trade one for a TCC Solenoid for a 6 speed?
