I finally got to get the 01 on the dyno this last weekend. This is the tune I have been driving truck everyday with and tweaking a little bit. Truck has 316000 miles on her and is bone stock other then exhaust and airdog Raptor. Stock Intake even. I have yet limped out trans or lost rail pressure. How does this dyno chart look? I would like to see if the powers in a safe spot.

That's really close to my tune when my truck was stock. Trans was happy except 5th, which eventually started hating me. Also turned my torque converter into a high stall. It took the abuse for about 60,000 miles before 5th became a problem.

Your engine will do fine at that level, but be careful with 5th gear. And have fun!

Would it hurt anything to make the power come on a little earlier or not? I know a lot of people say keep it all above 2000.

Mine came on a bit earlier than 2000, and I think that's what really did in the trans. Every time I would roll into the throttle in 5th at freeway speeds (1800 RPM), it would slip and limp.

If you are happy with how it runs now, I'd leave it. If you feel lucky, or build your trans, roll the power in sooner.

Though I still say your transmission's days are numbered at this power level. Just a matter of how long you can get away with it.
