Maybe you already mentioned this, but I can assume you will be running duals. If so, that bracing looks like it will work for the tubes, but the spindles are what you will need to watch out for.

Yes, I will be running dual's. Are the spindles stronger on the DRW axle? I know the tubes are thicker.

No the spindles aren't any stronger. But the center of your duals are better centered on the spindle on a drw. The center of your duals on a srw will be further out on the spindle. Which will give them more leverage. If that makes sense. I'm not very good at explaining through typing.

Makes sense, less leverage pulling the spindle forward. My inside wheel has 8" back space to put tire closer to the frame and hopefully less leverage on spindle.

It should help a little.
Wasn't trying to knock what you got going on or sound like a know it all, cause seems you are headed in a good direction. Just thought I would throw my experiences with the rear end in there.

mantua, oh
very curious to know how the coilovers will work out front vs. the torsion bars?? I have heard very negative opinions about it

I guess I will let you guy's know in about 4 month's!

Maybe it will be an epic fail, but I see no negative effect's of the coil overs. You loose weight and have full control over dampening and rebound of the shock.

Sounds like a win win to me.:thumb:

Anyone have pics of bent axles and stuff?
I don't have any pictures, but it would look a lot like the pic in the thread posted above. My tubes weren't bent at all. All the bend was in the spindle. It was on a srw axle. I've not heard of to many bent axles, twisted ones are common though.
