i have 2001 duramax i bought and it already had efi live tuned and the tranmission still has stock tune on it but it shifts so hard and thought pressure was turned up has built suncoast with tripple disc trq converter. and yesterday we reset the taps and stuff got worse. when we did that and went down the road it would go on when it was ready to shift it would high rpm and shift super hard. i had someone tell me my e-vaulve might be stuck in vaulve body but they were not forsure before we reset taps would just shift hard and not act like that but just wanting to see if anyone new about this one other thing also i can stop and be setting there and hit gas and wont go and then a clunk and jerk your neck like your netrual droping and also if you set there long enough would fill like it shifted while setting there any ideas thanks guys

What is the line pressure, when the problem is occuring?

This is a dumb question because it takes a special adapter to fit the bell housing to 1/8 pipe. Most people do NOT have a pressure gauge handy or the special fitting. Try and help by suggesting things that can be checked without ordering special equipment.
From the descripsion here there should be a CEL. If so, read the code and post it here and we will help. Rarely do you need a pressure gauge on the Alli. If pressure was too low there would be a p0701-702 code. If this happened there would be no forward or reverse.

There is forward and reverse. It just over revs. When about to shift but I know it's not slipping at least I don't think just started after I reset taps. Thanks guys for help so far and there is no codes.

I too have a problem with hard shifts, my tranny was acting the same until it shifted so hard- it cracked the trans housing where it connect to the transfer case, and I lost reverse from fuild loss. when i would come to a stop sign it would delay shifting into first for about two or three seconds after a complete stop and then it would slam into first. felt like a nurtal drop. I went and got another trans from local auto recycler, put it in, and it shifts the same as my old tranny??? I don't want to loose another tranny. So i dont think the trans is the problem. any suggestions? TIA
