I am rebuilding a lb7. when i turn it over it turns over smooth intil i install the rocker arms. on every cylinder the exhaust valves hit. none of the intake valves hit. it is times so that the single dot on the cam in in the center of the two dots on the crank, at number one top dead center. any ideas or insight on this would be great thanks

Are you running a aftermarket cam? Are you running stock rockers? You sure the marks are lined up? Give more info on the build please.

Made that mistake once after doing head gaskets...... Suprisingly enough it runs pretty decent, just makes alot of noise, especially once you throw a pushrod.

Have you pulled the cam gear to make sure the alignment pin isn't broken?
