Is he a douche bag or just look the part? Either way, he's sure got a quick & fast ride!

Bobby Shawn and Justin were all cool when I went to OKC and raced the Armageddon event with the Nova. Even got Justin to wear his competitions (Boddie) shirt while signing autographs. Those guys all have tons of people coat tailing them all the time, I don't think I could handle what they have to deal with.

The car looks pretty sweet. I highly doubt it would compete with the Street Outlaw guy's. They run in the four seconds in the eighth. I have seen Murder Nova running quicker than 4.60s at the worlds fastest street car event in Valdosta Ga. The quickest at that event ran 4.1 at 211. We haven't seen diesels run that well yet. I don't doubt that it won't have the power but you gotta have it all working together.

The guys on the top are crazy fast, and have their shit together. I don't think the Camaro will ever see a 3.xx, but who knows how far the industry will go in the next 5yrs, look how far we've came in the last 5.

I met them and got a chance to talk with them in Valdosta Ga at the event there. They were pretty cool guys. When you have the following they have there isn't a reason to be a douche. They are living the life for a racer. Big Chief was doing autographs and this guy was getting impatient with Chief taking the extra time with kids. Chief told him I will be here all day but these kids are going to get their time first. He took time to actually talk to the kids about responsible racing and the desire to keep it going.

I watch that show from time to time.. Havnt had tv until recently.. Chief is one of my favorites if not my favorite.. No drama bullshit just racing with him. And the fact he did that for those kids moves him up even further.

Id shake his hand and buy him a beer.. I honestly can't think of very many tv personalities I can say that about.. Stacey David, Jesse combs, and Chip Foose and Aaron Kaufman are probably the only other ones I would go out of my way for.

I didn't say he was acting like a douche... just sorta looks like some doods that are. Glad to hear he's a pretty good guy. :thumb:

and yeah, good for them making it to the "big time" doing their passion for a living! :coolspot:

Anyway, back to talking about the camaro!

If you really want to see how Chief and Shawn are, listen to their podcasts. "The Chief and Shawn Show". They say how they really feel about things on it. It's pretty comical.

Most races are won by the 1/8.

Plus when you're already going 200mph in the 1/8 and cars are already taking flight.., what's another 30mph? Most fast 1/8mi stuff is production body cars, that are already 58+% weight on the nose to keep them planted. Totally different game than a 9 sec 1/4 mi car.

1st layer of primer down, major bodywork knocked out. Paint should be down soon, then air brush and one more coat of clear.
