Duramax builders in Ohio?

Hey everyone I'm curious to know if there are any machine shops, or engine builders or even any reputable performance shops in northern Ohio who are familiar with the duramax platform specifically? I know of redline and some others but there's really no duramax guru's that im aware of. I'd like to find and do business with someone who knows what they are doing. When i had my heads off i used a local machine shop and he was alright but definitely didn't know a whole lot about these engines. Eventually im sure ill be doing an engine build and it would be nice to actually take it somewhere and know it was done right.

Local to me is around a two hour drive either way, not north though or id be in canada lol most of the stuff i can do myself but it would really be nice to find a machine shop that can recommend the right parts for the hp goal. But i wouldn't hesitate to have someone do the engine assembly either if they were trust worthy. My job doesn't give me much time to work on things.

TCD Performance out of NE Ohio. It's my ex he does a really good job extremely professional and OCD. He did my old 366 setup. Injectors etc. 330-367-7179

What is your location exactly?

I know this guy is big on Cummins stuff, but I wouldn't have a problem taking Dmax parts to him, and he isn't "northern ohio" but.... http://www.djprecisionmachine.com/

Hes a friend of a friend type of deal, but he use to work at EEP until he went on his own. FWIW he built the deckplate engine for Lavon Millers truck.

Is Firepunk just Dodge, or do they also work on Dmax? Lavon Miller sure seems to know what he's doing.....

He does Duramax transmission builds, but I haven't heard of many guys' running them. One gentlemen seemed to have had issues with the build done by them. No doubt some of the most solid dodge builders'.

I'd be more then happy to run everything to Danville for you. I'm about 40 minutes away from you. Gives me a reason to go buy some stuff from

I'm just the red headed step child. I'm ok with that and wouldn't want it any other way. I have a truck that has been in two other shops before it come here and they could not get it running. The one is high profile and its pretty unbelievable what all they put on the truck (parts) then shipped it out not running. It fills pretty good when you have it making smoke in very little time after fixing a few things they did.
