It's going to be a standard Inconel glowplug just shortened up into the body. This will still enable the plug to seal out moisture and withstand the cylinder pressures. When they get tested here they are QC'd ISO Certified and tested to withstand up to 1000 psi.

I seem to remember the other deletes had a small tip to fill the hole in the head. looking at an old set here Id say 1/2" off the bottom of the plug, just going off similar marks on them.
Maybe it doesn't matter on filling that void

No. It will actually be a shorter tip to sit up into the head and out of the cc.

Then the tops will either be machined flat or the threads taken off so you can't hook wires to it.

No, LB7/LLY glowplugs are physically identical, they're just different internally... 12v vs. 5v.

LBZ glowplugs have the threads halfway down the bore.

SoCal diesel has them and coming from there they are cheaper than I thought they were gonna be.
