I will update everyone tomm on how much the hose is from my local hyd shop. They usually swing a good deal from all the business my work sends them....plus the counter guy likes dmax trucks :p

I too have the II dual feed line on my LB7. Mine is the newer blue one, and like he said its very "sprung". I have somewhat of a different take on mine though. I don't feel that I gained very much from it, but I have still have stock injectors. So maybe thats the difference. I would still recommend it though...every little bit helps!!!

mytmousemalibu, where did you get your nozzels from? Ballpark price?

The $70 a foot deal was a Hyd shop on line i found on google, just a chunk of hose. I would love to make my own and would surely save some peso's. Heres the issue with that, the Line kit from II also has 2 fittings, one goes where the Hi-Psi pop-off valve was on the distribution block and adapts to the rail type fitting crimped on the hose. The other, you remove a Torx plug at the bottom of the CP3 and insert a special adapter fitting (again adapts to rail type conn. on the line). Now the CP3 adaptor fitting has a "pin" on it that holds a ball/spring inside the bottom CP3 port. One might be able to get these fittings from Ind. Inj. ??? Also need to find the rail type crimp fittings for the line itself.

there is a Torx ( iirc T-40?) plug in the back of the pump. Hold the pump as if it were in the truck and its below the gear pump, basiclly the very bottom, its face points to the turbo. ;)

and that goes in place of the fprv?

thats another outlet from the cp3 im guuessin?

Well the FPRV is the lil canister solinoid with the plug on it. Now it just regulates the amount of fuel coming into the pump and serves no relevance to the dual feed kit. The port the fitting goes in is simply just plugged and not used, its just one more additional rail psi outlet port and the line capitalizes on it by using it, its really pretty dang simple

Top arrow pointing to FPR

Bottom arrow: the plug kinda hard to see.

interesting.

and the line goes from the cp3 to where the fprv used to be on the junc block?

No, the FPRV is the solinoid thing on the CP3 buddie:D Now the line goes from the removed plug (pictured, bottom arrow) to the the junction block. now theres no spot on it so you remove the hi-psi pop-off valve---> it lets pressure off in the event it becomes to high, on the other end of the pop-off it tees into the return line system. Now what you do is the pop-off is unscrewed from the junction block and left hooked to the return line. it stays sealed cause its one way and the return is very low psi. now your left with an open port on the junction block where the pop-off was.....this is where an adaptor goes that the other end of the dual feed also goes!

No.. the FPRV ur talkin about is the FCA (fuel control actuator) also known as the FPR (Fuel pressure regulator)

the FPRV im talkin about is the fuel pressure relief valve that pops off when the RP gets too high thats located on the junction block

but anyhoo. That duel feed line its pretty nice, it gets rid of the fprv that could be leaking and robbing you RP plus it adds more fuel. i think my fprv is leakin is doing that to me right now i cant seem to make good RP. so im gonna plug mine.
