For those that are running dual lift pumps what sizes are you using? My fueling as on now consists of one airdog 165, dual 10mm exergy cp3's and 200 % over injectorss. I'm looking to add a second lift pump. Not sure if I want to do a 150, 165 or a 200. I plan on running the one I have from the stock feed location. I have a helman sump installed in the fuel tank and that's where the second pump will feed from. I want to do dual 1/2 inch line to a distribution block under the hood. From there I'm doing -6 feed lines to each cp3. I plan on going bigger return lines back to the tank. Please give your feedback.

Thanks

Yes

Ya I seen that. I'll be getting another 165, My plan is to run one off the stock location and the other off a sump. I already have the sump installed... Kind of wish I got the one with dual outlets.

What he said. I see no need to miss match. Keep them the same. Saw a pic of a dual sump set up, looked sick.

It is easy to drill and tap it to run the other off the sump. That is what I am doing and running two 200ADII. My return are 8an.

Why wouldn't you tie both feed lines together near the pumps, instead of running 3 fuel lines to the doghouse? It would be much cleaner and pushlock hose is pretty expensive.

Thats what im doing. I have -8 coming off each pump, and under the bed i have those going to a -10x-8x-8 Y fitting and then just the -10 all the way to the front.

fuel line

I know this is a hole new ball game (diesel vs gas). we used to race a gas car. we ran 8.90's in 1/4 on a 10.5 inch wide slick the car chaise dynod over 900... we had issues with the car hesitating really bad off the line. fueling was a GB400 which is more then capable of what fuel was needed. after talking with barry grant we found our problem was the fuel line was too large and the car launched so hard the fuel stopped in the line. we went to a smaller feed line and the problem stopped. granted that can be seen through logging and you have HUGE pumps. just wanted to pass that along I thought it was interesting.

this is something i have always wondered about as i had a ad150 on my truck, not enough fuel to supply 2cp3s and 60% over injectors for what i was trying to achieve, but some people said to run another ad150 and call it good. what is the benefit of running 2 lift pumps as to just one big one say like a fass 260?

I think most people run two because they already have one but i could be wrong.

I have 1 ad200 right now but obviously my fuel system to the pumps is far from stock. I can hold 8-10 psi to cp3's all day long. FYI if you ever use any npt fittings or an stuff look in side them. 3/8" brass npt 90's can be restricted inside to less than a 1/4", same thing goes for an stuff they're not all the same imside.

Ya I noticed that. I ordered my fuel distribution block and fittings from summit racing. I went went magma fuel brand. They are very open on the inside and tapered where fuel comes in and out, Expensive but in the long run I feel worth it. I have an air dog 165 now. I'll be selling it after talking to a few on here I want to go dual 200's.
