Having issues with the fitting that goes into drivers side rear rail. At 22000 psi it blows fuel out the old return barb style fitting on rail. I have the fitting hella tight and still leaks. Pulled the rail and inspecting everything. Do you think a copper washer in there would seal it and hold the psi?

I've used a copper washer under a Rail Pressure Sensor before that had a gauled spot on the sealing face and leaked past threads...

Both surfaces on the fitting and rail don't show and groves or scratches on it. But I'm afraid to go tighter

I had a similar problem with my PPE kit. Put a new drivers side rail and new rail fitting from them and no more leak. I was getting tired of it so just replaced it all

Yes. Is it new?

No. Pulled off of a truck that needed a fprv a few years ago before I knew what race valves were.

If I can find it I'll ship it to you to see if it helps your problem.

You have a problem sealing internally. That return port should be blocked off if not running the factory fprv. Are you sure you were supplied with the correct fitting??

If your talking about the rear fitting in the back of the rail. I had to put an o-ring on mine that was similar to the stock FPRV. Every time I would hammer on it it was piss fuel out. Put o-ring on and we were good to go.

Yes it should be blocked off. After talking to multiple people it sounds like that if both machined surfaces are not perfect they will leak. Its leaking out of the barb fitting so its internal. Only leaked at 22,000 psi and above. Over tightening will only work if your Lucky. I am buying a new rail and new fitting. Will torque to 75 pounds.

I got a spare used one but I think I am going to order a new one. Thanks though

Have you priced a new rail? They are pretty steep. I got lucky and ended up with a brand new one from a buddy. I think he paid over $500 for it. The new fitting I got from PPE was silver instead of gold and threaded in much better, torqued to 75# and zero leaks since. The fuel line actually screwed onto the fitting way easier too.

300 for the rail. 30 for the fitting.

I would pull that fitting out and visually inspect it. I'm not sure if that's a 37 degree flare or not but possibly have fitting that has been retappered to "work". Whose fitting is it??
